We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Sandvik. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions using SAP technologies.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing data models that define the structure of the data warehouse, ensuring efficient organization and storage of data.
- Developing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a suitable format, and load it into the data warehouse.
- Integrating data from different sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Optimizing the performance of the data warehouse by tuning queries, indexing, and managing data storage.
- Creating reports and dashboards to provide insight and support decision-making processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proficient knowledge of BW modeling components, including Info Object, DataStore Objects, Multi Providers, Virtual Providers, and Open Hubs.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of BW on HANA modeling components, such as Composite Providers, Calculation Views, Open ODS, and ADSO's using BW modeling tools in Eclipse.
- Understanding of LSA++ architecture and development experience in BW and HANA 7.5 environment.
- Basic knowledge of CDS views and object-oriented concepts.
- Awareness of transformations, customer exit codes, BADI, and extraction function modules.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP is highly desirable.
The following skills would be advantageous in this role:
- Experience with SQL-scripting procedures (SQLSCRIPT in HANA) and ABAP proxies.
- Knowledge of BW workspaces, integrated planning, and planning capabilities of a DSO's and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Understanding of S4 HANA and HANA administration, including alert tracking and reading index server logs.
