DBA Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Vipas AB.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining Db2 databases on Unix/Linux platforms.

This role involves working closely with our database team and collaborating with development teams on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Db2 databases on Unix/Linux platforms.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure database performance and scalability.
  
• Perform on-call duties and provide support for database-related issues.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• At least 3 years of experience as a DBA in relational databases on Unix/Linux platforms.
  
• Experience in designing logical and physical databases using Power Designer or equivalent.
  
• Strong understanding of database management and performance implications.
  

Security Clearance:

The candidate will need to undergo a security clearance process before starting the assignment.
