We are expanding our team with multiple openings for a Roku Engineer in Stockholm, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge video streaming solutions.

Job Responsibilities

You will primarily work on software development for Roku/Brightscript applications, delivering state-of-the-art products. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining large-scale front-end applications and owning related platform infrastructure.

  • Designing and developing high-availability front-end applications using Brightscript and SceneGraph XML
  • Contributing to the improvement of application architecture and engineering processes
  • Ensuring sound engineering culture through hands-on development and code reviews

Requirements

We're seeking candidates with:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in software development
  • Experience with Brightscript/Roku's SceneGraph XML
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for technical challenges
  • Good command of English and ability to collaborate effectively
