• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key global suppliers to strategically secure capacity and align on future growth together.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sourcing strategies seamlessly into Sobi's operations and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies while adhering to high-quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and economic changes to anticipate and manage challenges effectively and drive initiatives that foster innovation in procurement practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sourcing strategies.
• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies that align with Sobi's business goals and support key initiatives.
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a strategic thinker who brings creativity and innovation to sourcing strategies and thrives in leading transformational change. You should have a university degree in Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, Biochemistry or other relevant degree and minimum 7 years of experience in a sourcing/procurement role, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. A proven track record in leading global procurement initiatives and managing complex supplier relationships is also required.
