About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and intuitive user experiences that drive player engagement and satisfaction.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Game Director and team to deliver a unique and strong user experience
  • Developing and implementing UI/UX designs through design documents, presentations, flow charts, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Iterating on the UI/UX based on feedback from various sources
  • Mentoring junior designers to improve their skills and work quality
  • Overseeing the creation of UI/UX assets and reporting to the Game Director
  • Working closely with game designers to define UX features and create assets accordingly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the game industry, with a strong track record of shipped titles
  • Expert knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
  • Leadership and mentorship experience, with a proven ability to guide and develop junior designers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and ideas
  • Experience managing a small team of designers
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Expert knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction principles and design patterns
  • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Unity 3D
