We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Expert to join our team as a Lead Counsel - Services, Digital and Investment. This is a pivotal role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise and passion to shape the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal counsel to our business teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tailored legal and compliance frameworks to support our business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with our global teams to ensure seamless implementation of Volvo Group Compliance programs.
  • Take charge of large-scale projects, ensuring legal compliance every step of the way.
  • Represent our organization in litigation, arbitration, or mediation as needed.

Requirements

  • Advanced legal degree (JD equivalent) and a minimum of ten years' experience as a commercial/contracts lawyer.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex legal issues, including compliance complexities surrounding competition law, IT, and data privacy.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate the legal landscape of the digital realm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages highly valued.
