Role and Responsibilities

We have a modern microservice architecture with code no older than two years, and our platform is hosted in AWS as well as our own data centers, utilizing cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Docker. As a Backend Developer, you will be involved in designing, developing, and deploying high-availability backend services with a focus on low latency and scalability. Our backend services form the backbone of our messaging experience, serving over 150,000 businesses globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Turn user stories into testable, maintainable, and high-quality code, working in a hands-on code design and coding role.
  • Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team delivering our messaging experience to businesses worldwide.
  • Promote and share knowledge for the improvement of methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with passionate team members, having fun at work and feeling proud to create world-class solutions for customer engagement.
Requirements

To contribute to this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience working with modern software development.
  • A deep understanding and experience of event-driven microservices written in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building services with cloud-native technologies.
  • Comfortable working in an international environment in English.
