Computational Biologist

We are seeking a skilled Computational Biologist to join our team at Karolinska Institutet. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge genomics research projects and contribute to the development of new bioinformatics tools and methods.
About the RoleAs a Computational Biologist, you will be responsible for analyzing large-scale genomic data using state-of-the-art computational techniques. You will work closely with our team of researchers to identify patterns and trends in the data, and to develop new models and algorithms to better understand the underlying biology.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other researchers and scientists both within and outside of Karolinska Institutet, sharing your expertise and learning from others in the field.
In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be able to effectively communicate complex scientific ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field
- Proven experience in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++
- Familiarity with bioinformatics software packages and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
