Job Description
">- This role will focus on developing suppliers for product ranges such as IVAR, HEJNE or TROFAST.
The Business Developer will lead the business team, create a common agenda and plan for supplier development, and work with suppliers to increase competitiveness and lower costs. The role involves transferring the category business plan to operational action plans, negotiating with suppliers, evaluating production capacities, and cooperating in the product life cycle process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">- You should be a collaborative team player who can transfer the bigger picture into concrete actions and learn fast.
- You should have an entrepreneurship mindset, be enthusiastic about people and business development, and possess strong knowledge of materials, particularly in the wood industry.
- You should be responsible for overseeing the entire purchasing process from start to finish and demonstrate strong leadership by collaborating with team members on business development and supplier management.
- You should use analytical skills necessary for working with numbers when negotiating prices or setting priorities for your work, which is usually high-paced and demanding.
- You should be a strong negotiator and communicator who always acts as an ambassador of IKEA values and a role model for fact-based business leadership.
