About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of embedded systems in our products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate embedded software programs based on stakeholders' requirements.
  • Foster collaboration with colleagues globally and work in cross-functional teams to drive alignment with organizational goals.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and maintain developed software programs.
  • Participate in code and design reviews of the software teams.
  • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
Requirements

We require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with strong academic results or equivalent background.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, preferably within the Automotive industry.
  • Strong expertise in Embedded Systems SW development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming skills.
  • Experience with version control using BitBucket, Git, etc.
  • Knowledge of Embedded Operating Systems (QNX, Embedded Linux, OSEK).
  • Familiarity with Open-Source development (FOSS).
  • Understanding of Vehicle communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • SW requirements handling with DOORS-NG or similar.
  • SW architecture and design (UML).
  • AUTOSAR classic and adaptive.
  • MISRA coding guidelines.
  • SW integration and qualification techniques.
  • Agile development (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • SWCM and build systems (Make, Ant, etc.).
  • Scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).
  • Familiarity with MCU and SoC embedded architecture.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Ability to work autonomously with little or no supervision and as part of a larger design team.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Capacity to adapt to new work situations.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
