We are seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Advisor to join our legal team. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside various departments to develop new products, negotiate agreements, advise on legal risk and regulatory compliance, and support corporate, employment, and litigation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective legal strategies to drive business growth and minimize risk.
  • Providing expert advice on complex legal issues, including contract review and negotiation, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop strategies to maintain and enhance our compliance posture.
  • Managing external counsel and vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of legal services.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure ongoing compliance and risk management.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top U.S. law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (US or equivalent).
  • 8-12 years of combined relevant experience in law firms and in-house legal departments.
  • Experience working with fintechs or financial services companies.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and minimizing risk through effective legal strategies.
