Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to lead process and equipment improvement and development activities at our site in Uppsala. This is an exciting opportunity to join a positive Engineering team that supports the site and production with technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical and process improvement projects, including Root Cause Problem Solving, process mapping, and analysis of existing processes to secure quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Develop and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes using lean and process excellence tools.
  • Design and execute Test Plans and Process Validation activities.
  • May be assigned project leadership responsibilities on a portion of a larger project or a small to medium project, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and project budget management.
  • Interact frequently with other functions within the organization, both locally and globally.
  • Manage external contractors and vendors.
  • Lifecycle manage direct device component specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Education: BSc or MSc in Material Science, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering role within a regulated industry, preferably in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sector.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities, drive to challenge status quo, excellent communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
