About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D Electronics/SW Project Leader to join our dynamic team at Hitachi Energy's Grid Automation and Communication business in Västerås.

This exciting opportunity will involve leading and managing the execution of complex R&D projects, coordinating work of multi-location and cross-functional project teams, and reporting project progress and financials to the Project Steering Committee.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Evaluate and improve existing processes and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Your Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or equivalent, with proven experience in managing product development projects.
  • Project Management Expertise: Knowledge and experience in project management tools, preferably in an agile and lean organization, including gate model.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex challenges, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Organized and Driven: Flexible, well-organized, and a driven problem solver who takes initiative and delivers on time and according to expectations.
  • Team Player: Experience working in international teams with excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in English (written and spoken); Swedish is beneficial.
