Legal Advisor

About the Role: We're looking for a skilled Legal Advisor - Data Protection to join our team at SEB Embedded.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the business with privacy-related matters, providing hands-on advice on implementing privacy within different departments, and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate privacy risks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support the business by conducting thorough privacy assessments for current and new business initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with the security, platform, and insights teams to implement privacy within their areas of responsibility.

• Identify and consult on privacy risks associated with product development and processes.

• Draft and update privacy notices and cookie policies.

• Monitor and follow up on privacy risks related to ongoing projects.

• PARTicipate in and evaluate the results of customer reviews and audits.

• Collaborate with the marketing and customer lifecycle teams to develop an attractive and smooth customer experience.

• Develop and deliver internal training sessions and create privacy-related FAQs, guidelines, and handbooks.

• Experience working with legal matters related mainly to GDPR and Privacy.

• A team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaborating with others.

• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.

• The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Hands-on experience providing risk-based advice.

• An interest in exploring and developing technical and security-related skills.
