Job Requirements

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our suppliers and creating new business cases that drive growth and efficiency. You will work closely with our R&D team to develop products and strategies that meet our customers' needs.

We are looking for an experienced procurement specialist with a strong background in purchasing and procurement. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry and possess excellent commercial and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and select new or existing suppliers for both development and application projects.
  • Work with suppliers, SQA, and R&D to choose the optimal sourcing and manufacturing method.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Develop and implement supplier development plans to meet specified requirements and sustainability goals.
  • Manage escalated supply chain issues and evaluate supplier performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as technical, finance, or purchasing.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong commercial and technical knowledge, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent cooperation skills, with ability to work cross-functionally and represent the purchasing team in designated projects.
