Job Title: District Manager

About the Role:

As a District Manager at Sushi Yama, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our restaurants in a specific region. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our sales and profitability targets are met, while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our restaurants in the region, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Staff Development: You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing our restaurant staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Culture and Attitude: You will be responsible for promoting a positive company culture and attitude among our staff, and ensuring that they are ambassadors for Sushi Yama.
  • Quality and Service: You will be responsible for ensuring that our restaurants meet the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, and that our customers have a positive experience.
  • Scheduling and Staffing: You will be responsible for scheduling and staffing our restaurants to ensure that we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • Systematic Work Environment: You will be responsible for ensuring that our restaurants have a safe and healthy work environment, and that our staff are aware of and follow all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will be responsible for collaborating with other regional managers, district managers, and other roles within Sushi Yama to ensure that we are working together to achieve our goals.
  • Teamwork and Motivation: You will be responsible for motivating and inspiring our staff to work together as a team, and to strive for excellence in everything they do.
  • Knowledge and Information: You will be responsible for staying up-to-date on company information and policies, and for communicating this information to our staff.

Performance Indicators:

  • Sales: You will be responsible for achieving sales targets for your region.
  • Staff Cost: You will be responsible for managing staff costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • COGS: You will be responsible for managing costs of goods sold to ensure that they are within budget.
  • EBITDA: You will be responsible for managing earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Guest Experience: You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have a positive experience in our restaurants.
  • Training and Development: You will be responsible for ensuring that our staff receive the training and development they need to succeed in their roles.
