Job Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, providing technical consultation, and leading generation in their assigned territory for STERIS products to the Life Sciences industry. This includes identifying prospects and opportunities, presenting new concepts and products, and ensuring optimal STERIS experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, gross margin, and product sales objectives.
  • Identify and pursue qualified sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to customers to ensure they receive the best possible solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal resources and channel partners to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM to capture detailed customer notes, manage sales funnel, forecast business, and maintain pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in consultative selling of technical products/services.
  • Knowledge of regulated industries (cGMP, GLP, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Experience using current CRMs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and monitor trends.
  • Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
