The Strategic Sales function is responsible for selling the Company's products and services to existing clients and developing or expanding business within strategic and global accounts that are of significant strategic importance to the Company and will have a major impact on the Company's long-term success. This role will be responsible for maintaining and growing the revenue stream through renewal management, win-back, cross-sell, up-sell of new opportunities. You will identify new contacts and deepen relationships with current contacts, as well as generate new business within targeted prospects within specified industry verticals. In addition, this role will act as a Tech-lead to apply technology to solve customer business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor on Dun & Bradstreet solutions to clients, building strong, positive relationships through strategic conversations.
- Establish senior-level executive relationships with clients to drive revenue growth.
- Maintain and grow revenue streams through successful renewal of existing business.
- Develop new account opportunities and expand existing accounts through cross-sell and up-sell of new opportunities within an established client portfolio.
- Implement proactive account management strategies to protect existing accounts and retain clients.
- Oversee end-to-end negotiation, contracting, and approval processes.
- Manage complex deal negotiations, aligning multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Coordinate account planning with internal sales resources to ensure strategic alignment.
- Develop and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet annual quota objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all business initiatives.
- Update and maintain accurate data in relevant CRM software and other sales tools.
- Collaborate with Client Success to increase retention rates through business reviews and win-back campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies as a thought leader.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote D&B's offerings.
