At Northvolt Poland, we are seeking an experienced Automation Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our factory's automation system.

This role requires a deep understanding of industrial automation and process control systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, implement, and test advanced automation solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining the factory's automation system.
  • Commissioning new equipment and ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
  • Fault finding and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with the Industrial Automation System Design team to test and verify upgrades and test applications.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in industrial automation, a proven track record of implementing complex automation projects, and excellent communication skills.

Education/Experience

  • Degree in Electronic/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computing, Software Engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years experience within Industrial Automation in process-driven industries such as: Mining, Paper Mill, Semiconductors, Fine Chemicals, Pharma, Food etc.
  • Experience with sensors and instrumentation.
  • Experience with PLC/SCADA, especially Siemens, Beckhoff, and ABB 800xA.
