As a Quality Assurance and Compliance Lead at SMS group, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all operations. Your comprehensive approach to QHSE will involve coordinating efforts, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, maintain, and develop QHSE processes and management systems
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations concerning quality, occupational health, safety, and the environment
- Train employees in QHSE procedures and promote a culture of QHSE awareness
- Develop and deliver QHSE induction training for new employees
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and take corrective and preventative actions
- Serve as a point of contact with authorities and stakeholders
- Monitor QHSE field developments
- Appraise vendors on a regular basis and score them for QHSE audits
- Undertake regular audits of the QHSE Management System and take corrective actions
This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. You should be proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
