About the Role

Arion Recruitment is seeking a skilled CAE Simulation Engineer for an exciting opportunity with our esteemed client in the Automotive sector. As a 1D CAE Simulation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing energy efficiency and optimizing electric vehicle performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy efficiency, battery, and electric motor simulations, with experience working on Electric Vehicles. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate 3D and 1D simulations, ensuring seamless software and hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Simulation Expertise: Perform system simulations to verify energy efficiency, consumption, and range requirements, leveraging your expertise in 1D simulations.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Develop plans in collaboration with the Attribute Energy Efficiency team, system teams, and other CAE engineers to integrate 3D and 1D simulations.
  • Software and Hardware Solutions: Work with the Attribute Leader and System Experts to recommend and suggest software and hardware solutions that impact both design and functionality.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in energy efficiency, battery, and electric motor simulation.
  • A strong understanding of the Automotive industry and its challenges.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Python, and Carmaker.
