About Our Job Opening:
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Backend Java Developer to join our client's IT team. This role involves backend development with occasional frontend tasks, working closely within a Scrum team. Key responsibilities include building Java applications aligned with the target architecture, integrating with third-party services, and modernizing legacy systems through microservices implemented in Spring Boot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Java applications aligned with the target architecture.
- Integrate with third-party services.
- Modernize legacy systems through microservices implemented in Spring Boot.
- Work closely within a Scrum team.
The role also involves testing, system architecture planning, and requirements gathering in close collaboration with the team and stakeholders. Depending on the client's needs, the developer may contribute to other similar projects within the IT department during the contract.
Required Skills:
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated experience and capability to fulfill the role requirements.
- 7+ years of recent experience in Java development within a distributed, service-oriented architecture.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture.
- At least 5 years of system development experience within an IT organization with 100+ employees in the last 8 years.
- Strong expertise in container technology (Kubernetes).
- Experience with Java version 17 or higher.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
