About the Role

This permanent full-time position is located in Älmhult, Sweden, and reports directly to the Business Location Manager at IKEA Älmhult AB. As a Sustainability Leader, you will be part of a dynamic team driving positive sustainability developments through the IKEA Direction and the IKEA People and Planet strategy.

Your primary focus will be on leading through people, fostering strong stakeholder networks, and inspiring others through effective communication and leadership skills. To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Sustainable Engineering or equivalent academics.
  • Profound knowledge of global trends and goals within sustainability.
  • Good knowledge of local and national trends and goals within sustainability.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to sustainability.
  • Proven experience in leading through people and complex multi-stakeholder environments.
