Senior Backend Software Engineer

As a member of our autonomous team of engineers, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and scaling our systems to handle increasingly large volumes of customers and devices. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering new features that address real-world problems faced by our users.
To achieve our goal of five-nines availability, you'll focus on building resilience into our systems, ensuring timely insights are delivered 24/7. Your leadership will inspire your colleagues, and you'll coach and mentor junior engineers to excel in their roles.
We're looking for a talented individual with significant experience in developing high-traffic cloud environments, database management, and automation of tools and CI/CD pipelines. Your proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, SQL, Python, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS will enable you to hit the ground running.
As a key member of our product and engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with designers, and contribute to the overall success of our company. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and scale Minut's systems to handle large volumes of customers and devices.
- Deliver new features that address real-world problems faced by our users.
- Build resilience into our systems to ensure five-nines availability.
- Lead by example, delivering high-quality code and driving architectural decisions.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in developing high-traffic cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, SQL, Python, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to balance pace and quality in a fast-paced environment.
