Acquisitions Director

Overview
Hines is a global real estate investment, development, and property management company. As the Acquisitions Director, you will play a crucial role in building our Swedish portfolio by sourcing, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the acquisition strategy for Sweden, identifying opportunities that align with Hines' objectives.
- Leverage established domestic networks in real estate to source off-market opportunities.
- Evaluate the suitability of investment opportunities for Hines' discretionary vehicles.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to inform investment decisions.
- Utilize internal and external resources to assist in investment underwriting.
- Build and manipulate bespoke asset and portfolio financial models for complex transactions.
- Collaborate with the Nordics acquisitions team to refine underwriting and benchmark previous Nordic investment experiences.
- Prepare investment memos for pipeline meetings, investment committees, and all stages in between.
- Work jointly with Hines' regional teams to evaluate and execute approved transactions.
- Support senior team members in strategy formation and execution.
- Lead the due diligence processes, coordinating with legal, technical, and financial advisors to ensure comprehensive assessment of investment opportunities.
- Negotiate purchase agreements and other deal-related documents.
- Uphold Hines' ethical standards through meticulous compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Education to a degree level in a business subject and preferably ongoing commitment to further education.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the commercial Real Estate industry.
- Fluency in financial terminology and understanding of investor objectives.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Swedish.
