Senior Data Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden.
As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and optimizing existing ETL flows for system integration, automated dataflows, data validation and storage.
- Design and develop new ETL flows using FME;
- Optimize performance of existing ETL flows;
- Contribute to the design of the overall solution architecture, interfaces, services, infrastructure configuration, security and access policies;
- Test ETL solutions and integration testing individually or in collaboration with other teams;
- Manage FME flow, workflows, job scheduling, resource allocation, error handling, monitoring, ensuring scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in computer science (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years of experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 6 years of experience in IT;
- At least 3 years of experience as ETL developer/Engineer developer using FME;
- At least 3 years of experience using SQL of which a minimum of 1 year using TransactSQL;
- Experience in FME flow management of workflows, job scheduling, resource allocation, error handling, monitoring, ensuring scalability;
- Experience in performance optimisation of ETL flows;
- Experience in data modelling and data warehouse architecture;
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle in both: waterfall and Agile/DevOps modes;
- Experience working with work item management tool (Azure DevOps);
- Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation;
- Experience of working in an Agile environment;
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD and automation;
- Advanced TransactSQL skills and experience in SSIS;
- Excellent command of the English language.
