About the job

We are seeking a Compliance Manager - Product Development to join our team in the Business Unit High-Speed Separators. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all relevant regulatory and safety standards.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess, document, and implement compliance measures. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to product quality and safety.

As a Compliance Manager - Product Development, you will be responsible for monitoring and staying updated on regulations, directives, and standards related to our products. You will identify and present regulatory obligations, evaluate their impact, and recommend actions for information and decision-making purposes.

You will conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies for mitigation. You will support technical compliance expertise and guidance in product development projects and other change initiatives.

You will create and maintain internal compliance processes and guidelines, collaborate with product development and quality assurance teams to integrate compliance into the product development process, and participate in external industry groups and technical committees representing Alfa Laval BU HSS.

In addition, you will provide training and guidance on compliance-related matters. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, curious, and has a problem-solving attitude with integrity and courage to stand up for their values.

We expect our ideal candidate to have an academic background within Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree with relevant specialization), experience in working with product safety and/or compliance related activities in an industrial company or related field, knowledge within product regulations, CE marking as minimum, and 3rd party approvals in compliance areas of machinery safety.

The ideal candidate will also have experience from international and/or national standardization and working with product standards as part of product development, experience with risk assessment, organizational skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently alongside project management skills.
