Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Developer to join our team in Luleå, Sweden. As a key member of our Firmware and Hardware Development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining firmware for embedded systems. Your expertise in Linux/Yocto systems and agile development methodologies will be invaluable in driving our next-generation condition monitoring ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Design and implement firmware for embedded systems, ensuring it meets user needs and enhances their experience.
    • Collaborate with your agile team to brainstorm, share insights, and create impactful solutions.
  • Testing and Maintenance
    • Test and maintain firmware for embedded systems, ensuring it meets quality and performance standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with other firmware, software, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
    • Communicate effectively with product owners, architects, and technical teams to understand and meet their needs.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • A university degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
    • High-level knowledge of coding and problem-solving for embedded Linux/Yocto systems.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience in agile development methodologies.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to articulate yourself in English.
    • Openness to occasional travel for specific activities.
