We are seeking a talented Scientist to join our team at Barrington James. As part of our dynamic team in Stockholm, you will contribute to cutting-edge research that has the potential to transform patient outcomes in rare diseases.
About the Role
As a Scientist, you will be responsible for identifying lead candidates, progressing toward IND filing and clinical trials, and working collaboratively with a specialized 5-scientist team. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in immunology and RNA therapeutics, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking treatments for rare diseases.
Your Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- MSc in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related life sciences field
- Experience working with rare disease models in vivo
- Proficiency in classical scientific lab techniques including Western blotting and other protein analysis methods, cell culture and manipulation of immune cells, particularly T cells, RNA isolation, characterization, and modification techniques, PCR, qPCR, and other nucleic acid analysis methods
- Experience with mouse models and downstream analysis
- Experience collaborating with CROs on preclinical studies
