About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Purchaser to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia. As a Strategic Purchaser, you will be responsible for driving efficiency and growth in our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes for direct materials, ensuring optimal supplier selection and supply chain optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Material Management, Quality, R&D, and Product Management, to drive process improvements and policy development.
  • Deliver results on purchasing KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance, and category management.
  • Act as a procurement representative in development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support Supply Chain and Quality departments in escalation situations.
Requirements
  • Several years of demonstrated working experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Purchasing roles.
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Availability to travel internationally as per business need.
  • Ability to work in one of our offices based in Eskilstuna, Mölnlycke, or Stockholm.
