Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our team at IKEA. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective supply chain planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the need planning process to secure an efficient and effective supply chain planning
  • Develop and maintain accurate and balanced Need Plans that achieve agreed service levels at lowest total cost
  • Review and balance total need versus capacity to make an executable supply plan
  • Plan the need in the product change process
  • Contribute to leading initiatives with supply chain to identify potential overstock/stock out and act on deviations
  • Collaborate with value chain to secure agreed service levels at lowest total cost
  • Proactively create, execute, and follow up need plans on operational and tactical levels
  • Contribute to defining the optimal replenishment solution, together with various supply chain stakeholders
Requirements
  • Passion for planning and leading a global assignment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proactive and able to work with a holistic perspective
  • Experience in supply chain, particularly on a global scope
  • Ability to work with digital solutions such as advanced analytics, machine learning, and BI tools
