The European Spallation Source (ESS) is one of the largest technology infrastructure projects being built today. We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Aveva E3D Administrator - Piping Engineer in our Plant & Process Engineering Function.
This exciting opportunity involves working on the design and development of process systems, such as cooling systems, associated piping systems, and mechanical support systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and setting up the Aveva E3D environment, including project templates, user roles, permissions, and project-specific settings.
Key Responsibilities- Configuring and customizing the Aveva E3D software
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance
- Preparing specifications and documentation for procurement and installation
- Performing pre-studies, conceptual system design, and detailed design of piping systems
To thrive in this role, you should have a strong background in piping design and engineering, as well as proficiency in the Aveva tool suite. Experience as an Aveva Administrator is desirable, but not essential. You must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
