Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and senior User Experience professional to lead our product design organization. As the Head of UX, you will play a pivotal role in evolving and shaping the user experience for our services.

The ideal candidate will oversee and guide the creation of our digital services, both in App and Web, providing exceptional user experiences. This involves a combination of discovery, user research, UI, and leadership, on both strategic and hands-on operational work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set UX Vision and Strategy: Develop and implement a strategy to reach our UX vision.
  • Holistic Ownership of User Experience: Take ownership of the user experience for properties including iOS, Android, and Web.
  • Pain Point Identification and Solution Implementation: Identify pain points in the user journey and propose effective solutions.
  • Engagement Driver Identification and Execution: Identify and execute on engagement drivers in the app across the whole customer journey.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead the Product Design team and provide guidance and mentorship to grow skills and capabilities.
  • Design Library Maintenance and Improvement: Maintain and improve our design library for keeping and developing a consistent design system with reusable components.
  • Prototyping and Usability Testing: Create prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to align design decisions with overall product strategy.
  • Market Understanding: Maintain a strong understanding of user needs, industry trends, and competitor landscape (focus on the US market).

Requirements:
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills: Possess excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Product and Customer Evangelism: Be a passionate product and customer evangelist.
  • Attention to Detail and Quality: Demonstrate attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Proactive and Results-Oriented: Be proactive and take ownership of your area and results at a senior level.
  • Excellent Analytical and Communication Skills: Possess excellent analytical as well as communication skills.

Experience:
  • 7+ Years of UX/UI Design Experience: Have 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including 2+ years in a similar position or leadership role.
  • Deep Understanding of Design Principles: Have a deep understanding of design principles and the ability to continue working with our system that allows for easy collaboration and scalability.
  • Current Design Trends and Best Practices: Have solid knowledge of current design trends, mobile app design guidelines, and best practices.
  • Successful Digital Products or Services: Proven track record of designing successful digital products or services across various platforms (web, iOS, Android).
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of enabling high-performing teams.
