Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to lead our development team in the PLM area. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the development of new functionalities in our current IT tools setup and implementing new solutions.

Your responsibilities will include leading the development team, application development and testing, integrations between systems, application enhancements/new functionality, process development, quality assurance, and implementation of new development project capabilities in production by working closely together with the operations team.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the technical development and resource allocation between development projects, driving the strategy/vision and continuous improvement of application development processes, testing strategies, and standards.

In addition, you will implement company global vision on department level in accordance with business targets, define annual strategies, budget, and development plans, promote the work with Health and Safety, continually follow up and improve processes, policies, and procedures, build and develop the team and the individuals in it by managing employee training and development initiatives, as well as provide strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of the function.

About You

  • You have documented experience working with system/application development and have a good understanding of IT operations and Product Lifecycle Management practices.
  • Experience with complex Product Lifecycle Management Systems, especially Teamcenter applications related to Engineering and a general understanding of Software Lifecycle Processes.
  • Experience as a people manager, or other relevant leadership experience with personnel responsibility.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
  • You have strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in Swedish is qualifying.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps and ITIL best practices.
