About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Specialist to join our team in developing and implementing high-quality engineering solutions for our clients.

As a Senior Control Systems Specialist, you will work closely with our Control Engineers and other team members to design, implement, and verify SCADA and HMI interfaces that integrate our customers' systems with the MACH Control system.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and engineering HMI and SCADA applications for FACTS in Aveva System Platform and Micro SCADA solutions.
  • Supporting our delivery organization with assistance they need to successfully implement our new solution towards customer projects.
  • Working with station interfaces, both locally and remotely.
  • Training and supporting the organization in applying a new HMI and SCADA solution in our delivery projects.
  • Performing HMI and SCADA verification of our control systems MACH – executed in test rooms and on-site.
  • Reviewing customer specifications, tender budgets, and estimation of project schedules in assigned tenders and projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree within a relevant technical area along with competence and experience.
  • Experience in the development of substations for energy and utility sectors.
  • Experience in areas such as IEC61850, HMI (Micro SCADA), event and database management, and communication protocols.
  • Specialized knowledge in substation automation engineering, particularly in the development of station control systems using Micro SCADA, in line with the IEC61850-8-1 standard, and incorporating MODBUS and OPC DA/UA.
  • Proficiency in Electrical Control Systems and skills in SCADA/DCS system management.
  • Proficiency in developing HMI design solutions with Aveva System Platform.
  • Proficiency in Ethernet network structures and variety of redundancy principles.
