Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Project Manager to lead innovative projects for HVDC applications in Sweden.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for developing and executing R&D projects aligned with our portfolio management, including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans.

  • Proactively identifying potential risks and developing risk management strategies to respond to emerging challenges is crucial to your success in this position.

  • You will lead requirements analysis, pre-studies, solution development, and documentation of results in the projects.

  • Your expertise will help improve processes, quality, and individual growth within the team.

Key Qualifications

  • A university degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in electrical engineering or similar with a strong technical background in the electrical power industry is required.

  • Knowledge of engineering principles, HVDC, FACTS technology, power semiconductors, and voltage source converter applications is essential.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management of R&D projects related to power electronic converters and high voltage electrical equipment is necessary.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively are vital.

  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies is desirable.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges are required.
