About the Role

We're seeking a skilled VFX Artist to join our team at Resolution Games. As a key member, you'll be responsible for crafting visually stunning effects that bring our XR titles to life.

As a VFX Artist, you'll take charge of creating and implementing high-performance visual effects using Unity. This involves working with particle systems, shaders, textures, and meshes to craft dynamic effects.

You'll collaborate with designers, developers, and animators to seamlessly integrate VFX into gameplay. Your role will also involve owning the VFX process from ideation and prototyping to implementation and polish.

We're looking for someone with experience in game engine VFX development, knowledge of shaders, and an understanding of animation timings. Comfortable optimizing for performance-limited platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement high-performance VFX using Unity
  • Work with particle systems, shaders, textures, and meshes to craft dynamic effects
  • Collaborate with programmers, audio designers, and animators to integrate VFX into gameplay
  • Own the VFX process from ideation to implementation and polish
  • Profile, optimize, and ensure VFX assets run smoothly across all platforms
