This Procurement Specialist role focuses on the Transformers category and requires a deep understanding of strategic sourcing activities and collaboration with external suppliers and internal factories to drive growth and success.

About the Position

  • You will be the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders such as sales, project management, engineering, and project supply chain buyers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Your key responsibilities will include identifying, developing, and securing top-tier suppliers within quality, cost competitiveness, and sustainability standards.
  • Closely working with project teams on tender and execution phases, including RFQs, supplier proposals, and quotation evaluations, you will propose alternative suppliers that align with regional strategy and capacity.
  • Collaboration with category specialists and project supply chain buyers is essential to support project deliverables and drive supplier performance evaluation.
  • You will negotiate with suppliers on project terms, prices, lead times, and contractual terms, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Closely working with global category leads and other regional teams will enable you to leverage purchasing power and maximize cost savings.

About You

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related business fields.
  • Technical knowledge of Power Transformers is crucial, along with market insights and 3-5 years of relevant experience from a similar position.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a sense of ownership and entrepreneurial attitude are necessary.
  • A multinational company experience is highly valued, and fluency in English is mandatory; Swedish proficiency is an added advantage.
