We are currently undertaking numerous large-scale data centre projects in 7 different European countries, representing over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

We require an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join our team to ensure the successful delivery of these projects.

This role involves overseeing all aspects of compliance and governance, including Health & Safety on site, ensuring that all Sub Contractors are working in a safe manner. This includes reviewing ways of working and implementing changes to improve safety, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, completing weekly 'don't walk by' cards, developing and implementing company procedures with package managers, and handling change management correctly (Cost & Programme).

An ideal candidate will possess relevant Electrical qualifications, such as City & Guilds Certificate, HNC/BTEC or NVQ, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment. Data Centre experience is beneficial, as is proficiency in MS Word & Excel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site Quality Assurance in conjunction with the QA Manager, preparing two weeks look ahead for upcoming works, ensuring labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements, and maintaining high-quality works.

Core Responsibilities

  • Management of site Quality Assurance in conjunction with the QA Manager.
  • Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with the Project Team.
  • Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.
  • Ensure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
  • Ensuring the quality of the works is maintained at a high level.
  • Management of Sub Contractors activities and progress against the schedule & manpower trackers.
  • Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to Project Management.
  • Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
  • Ensuring all delivered materials are coordinated and stored in a safe and secure manner.
  • Assistance with the close out of all project items including O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Materials- all with the support of the site project manager.
