IT Architect

Vattenfall is a leading energy company in Europe, and we're seeking an experienced IT Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Distribution business area, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our IT strategy and driving innovation.

Our team is responsible for advancing the Distribution business area as a data-driven company, allowing us to optimize decision-making and investment planning. We're looking for a seasoned Architect with experience in IT architecture and frameworks, preferably in asset-intensive industries.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing full IT/OT convergence to ensure seamless data transfer
• Developing advanced solutions for real-time insights into grid performance, substations, and transmission lines
• Creating hyper-scalable and reliable IT infrastructure to meet Distribution's reliability and growth targets
• Ensuring seamless and secure market communication and open data sharing
• Directing complex problems into concise Management Board actions

Key qualifications include:

• Academic degree in IT or related field
• Experience in IT architecture and frameworks, preferably in asset-intensive industries
• Deep IT knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure Well Architected Framework
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Location: This position is based in Sweden, with occasional travel to our office in Stockholm or Solna, and to Distribution locations in Trollhattan or Amsterdam and Berlin.
