Job Title: Commissioning Manager - Europe

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to join our team in Europe. As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commissioning process for data center projects in Europe, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the commissioning process for data center projects in Europe, including developing and implementing commissioning plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that all necessary testing and commissioning activities are completed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to ensure that commissioning activities are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that commissioning activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all commissioning activities are completed in accordance with Microsoft's quality and safety standards.
  • Provide regular updates to management on commissioning progress, including identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in commissioning or a related field, with a strong understanding of data center commissioning processes and procedures.
  • Proven track record of delivering commissioning projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
