About the Department

We are part of Group Insurance, a function at the Volvo Group Headquarters in Gothenburg. Our team focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining global insurance programs in the non-life insurance sector. We achieve this through the use of our in-house captive company, Volvo Group Insurance (VGI), which is one of Sweden's largest captives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage global insurance programs for the Volvo Group.
  • Coordinate programs with brokers and insurers.
  • Improve insurance coverage and reduce costs.
  • Assist operations with complex claims.
  • Develop reinsurance procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need a strong understanding of non-life insurance and a well-established network in the industry. Experience working with global insurance programs involving captive arrangements is beneficial. Strong analytical skills and leadership abilities are also required.
