Job Description

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of the Invoicing squad, responsible for developing efficient automated systems for invoicing, payments, and dunning processes within Tibber's Energy Deal product area. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance payment processes, streamline debt management, and elevate the user experience.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable backend systems within a cloud-based microservices architecture using dotnet and TypeScript, ensuring seamless operations across multiple markets.
  • Refine invoicing, payment workflows, and dunning processes to efficiently manage high transaction volumes, reducing manual workloads and enhancing user experience.
  • Integrate with banks and external services for invoicing, payments, and dunning, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with local regulations.
  • Contribute to technical excellence across Tibber's platform by refining workflows, introducing innovations, and partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and offer ideas to enhance architecture, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Iterate and refine solutions based on user feedback, team insights, and evolving needs of the energy sector.
