Job Title: Material Planner

Job Summary:

Alstom Sverige is seeking a skilled Material Planner to join our Supply Chain organization in Göteborg Slottsskogen. As a Material Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and supplies to support our production and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage inventory levels to meet production and delivery demands
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, lead times, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Relevant education or experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, is a plus
