We are seeking a Strategic Lead Buyer Operational Services to join our Uppsala office as part of the Service department. This key role will focus on quality operations of our wind turbines and help develop global sourcing strategies for sustainable relationships with operational services suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to establish framework agreements and prices, including quotation analysis, commercial condition management, and contract definition.
  • Manage tenders for suppliers, including RFI and RFQ processes.
  • Interface and coordinate between suppliers and the Service department to ensure cranes and manpower for preventive and corrective services on site.
  • Make decisions in coordination with service operations and present recommendations for management approval.
  • Closely collaborate with the Service department to guarantee understanding of business needs and objectives.
  • Participate in suppliers' evaluation of performance and compliance.
  • Drive continuous cost and performance improvements by analyzing cost drivers, processes, and specifications for improvement opportunities.
  • E nsure purchasing procedures are followed in the region and report to the corporate function (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic purchasing.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), additional language skills an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Expertise in contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector, manufacturing, or offshore industries advantageous.
  • Strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable to working in a rapidly changing environment and responding to evolving business needs.

We offer a competitive salary range: €60,000-€80,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
