Sales Operations Optimization Expert

MongoDB's Sales Operations team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst to drive market and segment specific analyses to uncover valuable insights, partnering with stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives that enhance sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive analytical rhythm of our business through quarterly business reviews and organizational deep dives
- Partner with Senior Sales leadership to drive market + segment specific analyses to uncover insights
- Develop expertise in business and compensation rules to fully understand how Sales operates
- Conceptualize and pilot new programs to test effectiveness of various sales roles and compensation plans
- Participate in quarterly and annual business planning for Sales teams
- Collaborate with various business units to drive productivity and headcount scenario analyses
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)
- 5+ years of work experience in Sales Strategy, Consulting, Sales Operations, or Analytics
- Effective communicator who can break down technical concepts into simple business vernacular
- Ability to write SQL queries to extract data needed for analysis
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and ability to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience with major business intelligence tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker)
- Familiarity with databases and differences between 'relational' vs. 'non-relational'
- Ability to navigate Salesforce with relative ease
