Cybersecurity Role Overview

The HVDC Cybersecurity function team plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest level of cybersecurity across HVDC projects and service agreements. This team ensures that our organization has a robust cybersecurity posture and stays ahead of potential threats.

The team achieves this by implementing effective cybersecurity strategies, collaborating with other functions, and providing training to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Project Security Administrator is responsible for ensuring that project-specific background controls and security vetting are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, including HR, IS/IT, HSE, and Security.
  • Collaboration with the HVDC Trainings department is also essential to ensure mandatory trainings are completed before project involvement.
  • This role supports the company vision by promoting teamwork, delivering results, and developing people.
Background and Skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security is preferred, but relevant work experience post studies is also accepted.
  • HR experience from working environments and labor law can be a suitable background for this position, requiring a few years in a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate must be collaborative, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in English.
  • Proficiency in Swedish is considered a merit.
