Responsibilities

• Conduct innovative research in economics, with a focus on political economy and social science disciplines relevant to the position.
• Develop and lead research projects, collaborate with colleagues, and actively seek external research funding.
• Teach and supervise students at all levels, including undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral courses.
• Take responsibility for securing external funding for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in economics or a related field.
• Documented scientific excellence at a high international level in economics, focusing on political economy.
• Documented pedagogical excellence in economics, including experience with teaching and supervising students at all levels.
• Proficiency in leading, organizing, and administrating activities within teaching or research.
• Ability to teach and conduct research in English; proficiency in Swedish is desirable.
