Procurement Director

You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Operative Buyers towards a specific site and related product units. This includes developing the Operative Purchasing function, such as roles and responsibilities, common ways of working across the Business Area (BA), while ensuring delivery, quality, and cost performance goals are met.

Main Responsibilities:

• Personnel responsibility for the team assigned
• Quality, delivery and cost performance from the suppliers
• Establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Development of processes, methods and tools within Operative Procurement, together with Operational Excellence and Process owners
• Securing business compliance towards internal and external business requirements

We assume you have:

• Previous managerial experience or extensive experience within Supply Chain Management
• Educational background in engineering, logistics, or economics
• Strong leadership skills with a solution-oriented and proactive approach
• High engagement and networking skills to establish cross-functional networks across all Saab Surveillance sites
• Data-driven and analytical skills
• Fluency in Swedish and English
