About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the PQC manager in building a strategic function of team (process safety engineers) and ensuring team adherence to engineering standards and other relevant laws and regulations for product and process safety.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support the development of routine activities related to process safety
  2. Take decisions and actions in process safety-related areas to prevent process incidents from occurring or reoccurring and keep process safety risks at a tolerable level
  3. Lead a site/project hazard study team for any type of hazard study (HS1-6, HazOp, HazDem/HazCom, LOPA, QRA)
  4. Develop and implement projects related to process safety
  5. Maintain Process Safety Competencies (PSC) required for the site
  6. Provide guidance and support to site colleagues working in the area of process safety
  7. Investigate and resolve process safety-related issues
